Christmas guide: 10 gifts under £20

Twenty-Twenty-One-copy.jpg

Dreamy Boat earrings, £17, Materia Rica. www.wolfandbadger.com Most gift guides I see assume the reader have pockets as deep as the ocean - and I'm talking Mariana Trench-deep. As much as I'd love to, I can't spend £500 plus on loved ones. Also, as an editor, it's easy to round up a list of 20 stonking items from Gucci, Prada et al but much harder, and hence more interesting, to find genuinely lovely gifts under £50. Museum shops are surefire places to find smaller items (the build-it-yourself Light Stax from the Science Museum is already on our Christmas list) and I've just rediscovered the joys of Anthropologie and Wolf & Badger, both beautifully edited sites with shedloads of gorgeous affordable items - as well as super-special pieces for closer friends. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. I'll be covering these options in upcoming guides. See you then.
